em-表示"使得"或者"进入"

empire n.帝国

[记]音似“硬派啊(em-pi-re)”，帝国一般都是“硬派啊”。

emperor n.皇帝;君王

[记]em-使得;per-全部;-or人。使得全部的人都臣服于他的人就是皇帝(em-per-or)。

[近]sovereignty n.君王 lord n.帝王

emphasize v.强调

[记]印(em-)刷发(pha-)行之前，再三确认字体的大小(size)，强调(em-pha-size)字体的重要性。

[变]emphasis n.强调(sis是抽象名词，如analysis分析)

[搭]lay emphasis on 强调

[例]Educators should not over-emphasize the importance of imitation which will constrainthe creativity of the students. It means that the modem educational system should lay moreemphasis on the cultivation of creativity.教育者不应该过分强调模仿的重要性，因为那会限制学生的创造力。这也就是说，现代教育体系应该更重视创造力的培养。
