I Love Big Cities

I grew up in a small town and now study in a big city, so I have experi-enced the good and bad sides of both. I never thought that I would like to livein a big city, but I was wrong. After two years of living in one, I cant imagineever living in a small town again.

I love the excitement of big cities. Small towns have a slower pace. Inlarge cities you have to adapt to a variety of situations, like finding a new routeto work or trying a new restaurant. I enjoy that challenge very much. Anotherpart of the excitement of city life is the variety of cultural activities available.

There are various kinds of theatres, musicals and dance performances availablein big cities. These things are rare in small ones.

Of course, security is a concern, and thats one area where small towns aresuperior to big cities. Still, I would rather be a bit more cautious and live in alarge city than feel secure but bored in a small town.
